Surrey's premier Antique and Fine Art Auctions
Chris Ewbank founded Ewbank Auctioneers in 1990. Since then it has grown to become the premier antique and fine art auction rooms in Surrey, specialising in sales and valuations at its prominent location adjoining the A3 just north of Guildford, 28 miles from London.
In 2008, Ewbank merged with the antiques auction business of long-established Guildford estate agents Clarke Gammon Wellers and in 2009, the merged firm formed a strategic association with South Coast antiques and fine art auctioneers Riddetts of Bournemouth, a business founded in the 19th Century.
Objects consigned at the Bournemouth office are auctioned at Ewbank's Guildford saleroom where Chris Ewbank holds specialist sales featuring all areas of fine art and collecting, including antique furniture and works of art, clocks, ceramics and glass, pictures, books, silver and jewellery, 20th century design and collectors' items.
Ewbank Clarke Gammon Wellers in association with Riddetts undertakes valuations for sale, probate, and insurance on homes and their contents.
For FREE saleroom valuations by email, send images to valuations@ewbankauctions.co.uk. Please give approximate dimensions, notes of marks and condition and we will advise on sale value.
Free valuation days are held at Ewbank Clarke Gammon Wellers every Monday between 10am and 1pm and at Riddetts' Bournemouth office at Canford Chambers, 22 St Peter’s Road, BH1 2LE, every Tuesday from 11am to 3pm. Appointments are not necessary.
